Scientific themes

DFI theme

The Decision and Information Fusion theme (DFI) deals with decision support problems in the presence of imperfect information. The main tool used is the Dempster-Shafer theory of belief functions, which extends the probability theory by representing the degrees of belief by non-additive measures.
