The second place (ex-aequo) of the IJAR (International Journal of Approximate Reasoning) Best Papers Award at BELIEF 2024 (https://bfasociety.org/Belief2024/), which is sponsored by Elsevier and recognizes the best papers presented at the conference with a young researcher as first author, was awarded to the paper “Tuan-Anh Vu, Sohaib Afifi, Éric Lefèvre and Frédéric Pichon. Optimization under Severe Uncertainty: a Generalized Minimax Regret Approach for Problems with Linear Objectives”. The award was announced at the conference by Thierry Denoeux, President of the Belief Functions and Applications Society.
