Optimization of collaborative and sustainable supply chains.

Within the framework of the project ELSAT 2020, CISIT, Campus International sur la Sécurité et l’Intermodalité dans les Transports, is offering a post-doctoral position at the University of Artois.

Mission

Nowadays, enterprises are facing increasing challenges to balance business performance and financial gains with environmental and social issues. In an age of increasing regulatory legislation for CO2 emissions, energy conservation and waste management, sustainability through supply chain planning and management.
The objective of the post-doctoral is to come up with a sustainable collaborative framework in order to optimize financial, environmental and social cost (Triple Bottom Lines (3BL)) of supply chains through increasing in sharing of resources, energy, water and infrastructures taking into account environment and social legislations. The framework will be based on Physical Internet principles that help to better characterize the sustainable collaborative supply chains. A simulation approach will be used inside the framework. Optimisation methods and some hybrid schemes could be investigated to get optimal or near optimal solutions.
