The Decision and Information Fusion theme (DFI) deals with decision support problems in the presence of imperfect information (meaning imprecise, uncertain, incomplete, ...) The main tool used is the Dempster-Shafer theory of belief functions, which extends the probability theory by representing the degrees of belief by non-additive measures. This framework allows one to model more precisely reasoning and decision making in situations where the available information is imperfect.
The research projects concern both theoretical research, for example:
And practical researches, as for example in the fields of transport and diagnosis of electric motors.
The MAIA Project aims to support and deepen the new uses that have appeared in recent years in many scientific fields following the rise of artificial intelligence
The programme strategy of the University of Artois is to promote and conduct core research on explainable AI as well as quality interdisciplinary research on important issues in Social Sciences and Chemistry.
The first purpose of the SmartMOB (Smart MOBility) project is to encourage drivers to park their cars to continue their trips using public transport to save time, facilitate their trips, save money, to reduce greenhouse gas emissions...
The objective of this project is the creation of a transnational evaluation tool for alternative mobility projects that will take into account the following elements: Mobility (efficiency, travel time ...), economic development, quality environmental protection, safety and consumer satisfaction.
The objective of this project is to illustrate how partial information can be exchanged in the context of inter-vehicle communication, for example to warn the driver of a potentially dangerous event (accident, obstacles on the road, braking, ...) or to assist him/her (find a free parking space, avoid traffic jams, be informed in real time of traffic conditions).
arswarm is a set of bash and expect scripts to connect and configure multiple Parrot drones on the same unencrypted network.
An interactive demo of the CVRPED model allowing one to represent uncertainty on customer demands in the Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem (CVRP) using the Dempster-Shafer theory of evidence.
RHUMS (RFID HID Unified Middleware Service) is an API and web pages based middleware. It provides a unified method for RFID scanners to send their data to a remote database on a server, relying on the Datawedge HID feature of RFID scanners.
Similar (Simulations with Multi-Level Agents and Reactions) is a Multi-Level Agent-Based Modeling formal meta-model based on the Influence Reaction model.
Similar2Logo is a Logo-like multiagent-based simulation environment based on the Similar API and released under the CeCILL-B license.
