Décision et Fusion d’Informations

The theme Decision and information fusion (DFI) deals with problems of decision-making in an uncertain environment. The Bayesian model using additive probability measures is largely dominant.Over the past forty years, two other models have emerged: one is based on the possibility theory and the other on belief functions. Both models use non-additive measures. Within the laboratory, members are specialized in belief functions. Research is both theoretical and practical. In order to use these skills to the best, and to develop as much as possible, applications are varied and not restricted to a specific domain.

The skills of the members deal with all aspects of decision support when belief functions are used to represent and manipulate uncertainty. In particular, the members publish on the following subjects:

  • classification, pattern recognition, analysis or extraction of data,
  • diagnosis, inference, decision making and reasoning,
  • the estimation and modeling of the reliability or credibility of a data source,
  • data fusion as such, when multiple information sources or multiple sensors must be aggregated to obtain a global state.

Sûreté de fonctionnement et résilience pour la gestion et le contrôle coopératifs des systèmes sociotechniques

Summary :

L’objectif principal de ce projet est le développement d’outils méthodologiques pour la gestion et le contrôle de situations de crises en termes de résilience. Les systèmes considérés sont des systèmes sociotechniques tels que la coopération entre opérateurs humains et robots mobiles de type UGV (Unmanned Ground Vehicles) en milieu hostile (incendie, inondations, etc.).

Plate-forme de simulation dédiée aux services de MOBilité

Summary :

The objective of this project is to illustrate how partial information can be exchanged in the context of inter-vehicle communication, for example to warn the driver of a potentially dangerous event (accident, obstacles on the road, braking, ...) or to assist him/her (find a free parking space, avoid traffic jams, be informed in real time of traffic conditions).

CVRPED : un démonstrateur
